We have recently completed the R&D, assembly and full‑machine testing of two customized electric‑heating shuttle rotomolding machines, model CS‑2A‑2500 with a maximum molding diameter of 2500 mm and CS‑2A‑3500 with a maximum molding diameter of 3500 mm. Both units are dual‑arm shuttle rotomolding machines with full‑electric heating system, tailor‑made according to product requirements and local factory conditions of our Uganda customer.
Limited gas supply and high fuel transportation cost in parts of Uganda led the customer to choose an all‑electric heating solution instead of conventional gas‑fired equipment. The two CS‑2A machines adopt alternate dual‑arm shuttle operation. While one rotating arm carries molds into the oven for heating and forming, the other arm performs cooling, demolding, material loading and mold change at the cooling station. Non‑stop cyclic production greatly improves the daily output of hollow plastic products such as water tanks and chemical containers.
Equipped with industrial PLC and touch‑screen intelligent control system, the machines adopt internal hot‑air circulation plus multi‑layer thick oven insulation. Precise temperature control ensures even product wall thickness and reduces defective rate. The main frame, rotating arms and transmission components are heavy‑duty reinforced and optimized for dusty African workshop conditions. The electric control system simplifies troubleshooting with widely‑available spare parts. Local technicians can finish routine repair and maintenance quickly to minimize production downtime. Safety interlock, over‑heat protection, emergency‑stop device and safety working platform come as standard for operator protection.
CS‑2A‑2500 is suitable for medium‑small water tanks, coolers, kayaks and other rotomolded goods. The larger‑size CS‑2A‑3500 can produce extra‑large‑capacity HDPE water storage tanks, big floating buoys, sewage tanks and playground components. Quick mold change enables multi‑product production on one machine. Electrical specifications are customized to match Uganda local power grid.
Completion of this two‑machine project further enriches our electric‑heating rotomolding solutions for the African market. Going forward, we will keep providing one‑stop rotomolding services including equipment customization, process commissioning and spare‑part support for worldwide clients based on regional site conditions.
